Being in the business of food product manufacture, EAL lays a visible thrust on meeting rigorous in-house specifications across its portfolio. This, the Company believes will enhance the bond of trust with the customers.

EAL has made adequate investments towards bolstering the infrastructure and enabling the manufacturing facilities to act in accordance with all the legal guidelines under the Factories Act. Both Refineries located at Haldia, West Bengal and Krishnapatnam, Nellore have the state-of-the art manufacturing and packaging facilities which ensure packed edible oils and fats untouched by human hands. The company also complies with the guidelines laid down under Food Safety and Standards Act 2006, Rules & Regulations, 2011. Both the units have following standards and certifications: QMS (ISO 9001:2015), FSMS (ISO 22000:2005), EMS (ISO 14001:2015), OHSAS (18001: 2007), etc. Besides, Kachchi Ghani Mustard Oil is being manufactured and packed at our own unit at Jaipur and through Third Party Units. To maintain best product quality and safety, every step of refining or processing is continuously monitored with utmost care and best hygienic practices.

Both the manufacturing units have the state-of-the-art analytical laboratories for stringent quality checking of incoming raw materials, packaging materials, in-process oils and finished goods. All the laboratories are equipped with updated and modern instruments. To make a mention here that the Quality control & R&D laboratory at our manufacturing unit, Haldia is NABL-certified (ISO 17025:2005) since 2016.

Our Quality Assurance and R&D team is comprised of highly qualified, dedicated and skilful professional mostly having PhD/Masters/B Tech degree in Food Technology, Oil Technology and Chemistry, etc. This team, very much active and dedicated 24 hours in our laboratory, is engaged in maintaining the hygiene of every corner of our premises, auditing vendors/depots/manufacturing units, laying stringent Quality and Safety norms and their adherence for great customer delight.
